The count down is on...

I'm so sad to say that there are only two more weeks left of classes for ARTcadia Studio until we break for the summer :(  This first 10 week session has been so much fun I am really sad to see it end!  We will really miss our friends who are moving away (Eleni and Mrs. Maria) but hope to see the rest or our new friends back in September.
The count down for baby Adrien's birth is on too!  Only 4 more weeks to go until he is due to make his first appearance in the world.  Julien and I spent some time with my friend Patrick and his wife Ruth taking some maternity shots a couple weeks ago.  I highly recommend Man in the Moon Studios to anyone looking for a photographer.  Here's a couple fun ones from our shoot...

Leprechaun Hunters!

Can you believe today was the start of our 2nd 5 Weeks!  Time is flying by.  We celebrated our new students first day of class and St. Patrick's Day today to kick things off.  The 2's had a blast in Mighty Mess constructing Leprechaun Magnifiers and searching for the pesky leprechaun who's been running around my back yard.  Unfortunately they never found him, but they did a great job of finding all the gold he dropped!

 

P.s. How'd you like those decals on my car?  I'm now a rolling billboard.  Thanks to the fab ladies at SuperSigns for doing such a super job!

Day #3

So we rounded out our first week of classes with the Remarkable Reuse class and upcycled some pretty sweet Valentine Friendship Cuffs.  A.B. went home with one for Mom, little sis and herself!  The week was a true whirl wind filled with lots of red glitter and smiles.  Looking forward to a very exciting next 4 to 9 weeks!

Day #2

Just as fabulous as day 1!  Today was a big group and we had so much fun it felt like everyone was only here for a minute!  I saw some really great Valentines head out the door that I am sure will make their receivers very happy on Monday.  C.C. had some beautiful heart sparkles happening on her valentine, and C.S. and his sister L.S. had very detailed work that was super special, just to name a few!  I can't wait to see what else this group will create.

First Day of Class

We had a very laid back and fun first day of classes today!  Julien was excited to get to join in on the fun and we made some very creative new friends.  Wish I had gotten a picture of E.'s finished Valentine, it was so expressive, I loved it!  Looking forward to continuing the fun the rest of this week!

Yay for aprons!

Thanks to Psycho Jock for our first round of lovely aprons!  The only problem with them is I forgot to get one in an adult size for myself :(

Julien has already claimed this one and has started breaking it in while working at his easel this week.
